Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Aiturnpro, a service provided by Concepts and Context. These Terms and Conditions explain the rights, responsibilities and obligations associated with using our website, software, digital tools, document checking services and other solutions.
Important: By accessing, registering for, purchasing or using Aiturnpro services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. Additional service-specific conditions may apply and become part of your agreement when you use the relevant services.
About This Agreement
This agreement applies to customers, account holders, website visitors, developers and organisations using Aiturnpro services. Certain provisions concerning custom development, consulting and deliverables apply only when those services have been separately agreed upon.
Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Aiturnpro. Our products, website, applications, digital tools, integrations and professional services (collectively referred to as the "Services") are provided by Concepts and Context ("Company", "we", "us" or "our").
By accessing or using our Services, you ("User", "Customer" or "you") agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Services.
Our Services may differ in their purposes, functionality, subscription arrangements and technical requirements. Additional terms, product requirements, order terms or service agreements may apply to particular products or projects.
Such additional terms form part of the agreement when accepted by the Customer. Where a separately executed agreement expressly conflicts with these Terms, the separately executed agreement shall prevail for the relevant Services.
Description and Availability of Services
Aiturnpro provides digital solutions that may include AI-writing analysis, plagiarism and similarity checking, document processing, report generation, downloadable reports, writing assistance tools and other related software services.
Certain Services may be offered through prepaid scan credits, paid plans, software integrations, API access where separately available, or customised agreements. Available features, usage limits and technical requirements are described on the relevant service or pricing pages.
We may improve, modify, replace, temporarily suspend or discontinue features for technical, operational, legal or security reasons, subject to applicable law and existing contractual commitments.
Independent Service Provider
Aiturnpro is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or an authorised reseller of Turnitin or iThenticate. References to third-party products are for identification, comparison or explanatory purposes only.
Turnitin and iThenticate are trademarks of their respective owners. Descriptions such as "Turnitin-style" concern report presentation and do not mean that an Aiturnpro report is an official report of those services.
User Accounts and Eligibility
Customers may be required to create an account to access paid document checking services or other restricted functionality.
- You must provide accurate registration and billing information.
- You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
- You must not knowingly share access with unauthorised persons or allow use that violates these Terms.
- You must notify us through our available support channels if you suspect unauthorised access.
- You must have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. Where required, a parent, guardian or authorised representative must provide appropriate consent.
Concepts and Context may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, misuse, security incidents, unlawful activity or material violations of these Terms.
Permitted Use and Customer Responsibilities
Customers may use Aiturnpro Services for legitimate educational, research, editorial, professional and business purposes, subject to the applicable service conditions.
You are responsible for ensuring that documents, manuscripts, assignments, reports and other files submitted through our Services are lawfully obtained and processed.
By uploading content, you represent that you own the content or have the necessary rights, authorisations and permissions to submit it for analysis.
Prohibited Activities
- Uploading content without required permissions or in violation of confidentiality obligations.
- Using Services for illegal, fraudulent, deceptive or otherwise prohibited activities.
- Attempting to gain unauthorised access to servers, databases, accounts or service infrastructure.
- Circumventing payment controls, security restrictions, usage limitations or technical safeguards.
- Reselling or redistributing accounts, reports, credits or API access without written authorisation.
- Using automated scraping, excessive requests or unauthorised integrations that interfere with normal operations.
- Submitting malicious files or attempting to introduce harmful software.
Users remain responsible for compliance with their educational institution's academic integrity requirements, applicable copyright laws and professional standards.
AI Detection, Similarity Reports and Accuracy
Aiturnpro's document checking services use automated processes to analyse submitted content and produce reports based on the capabilities available through the selected Service.
AI detection results are estimates produced through automated analysis. They are not definitive proof that content was written by an artificial intelligence system or by a human author.
Similarly, plagiarism and similarity reports identify potential textual overlap or matching sources within the available comparison coverage. A similarity percentage does not, by itself, establish plagiarism or academic misconduct.
Report results may vary depending on document formatting, language, text quality, document length, source availability, analysis methods and subsequent changes to checking technology.
Customers acknowledge that different detection platforms may produce different results when analysing the same document.
Aiturnpro is not responsible for academic decisions, disciplinary actions, publication outcomes or institutional assessments made by third parties on the basis of any report.
Pricing, Scan Credits and Payments
6.1 Digital Service Payments
Paid document checking services generally require advance payment through available scan-credit packages or other published purchasing arrangements.
Prices, package quantities, usage entitlements and applicable taxes shall be those displayed during checkout or agreed in an applicable written quotation.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the applicable service description and technical requirements before purchasing.
6.2 Scan Credits
Scan credits represent prepaid usage entitlements for eligible document processing requests. They do not represent stored cash, a bank balance or a transferable financial instrument.
The number of credits deducted for a request, any applicable expiration date, processing limitations and package-specific conditions shall be governed by the terms displayed at purchase.
A completed chargeable scan may consume the corresponding credit even where the Customer considers the resulting score unexpected or unsatisfactory. Technical failures and disputed deductions will be reviewed under the applicable support and refund arrangements.
6.3 Invoice Payments for Professional Services
For separately contracted development, consulting, enterprise or professional services, unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment shall be made within five (5) calendar days of receipt of the applicable invoice.
In the event of delayed payment beyond the due date, the Customer may be liable for interest calculated at 1.2% per month or the maximum rate permitted under applicable law, whichever is lower, on the overdue amount.
Where undisputed amounts remain unpaid, Concepts and Context may, following appropriate notice where required, suspend further performance until payment obligations are satisfied.
This invoice provision does not replace advance-payment conditions applicable to standard prepaid Services.
API Access and Software Integrations
This section applies only where Concepts and Context expressly offers and provisions API access or a software integration service to the Customer.
API access is subject to applicable commercial terms, usage limits, authentication requirements, technical documentation and any separately executed agreement.
- API credentials must be maintained securely and must not be publicly disclosed.
- Customers are responsible for implementing reasonable authentication, access controls and security measures within their own applications.
- Access must remain within the purchased usage limits and permitted purposes.
- Customers must not sublicense, resell or redistribute API credentials or underlying services unless explicitly authorised in writing.
- Technical specifications, endpoints and availability may change as part of maintenance or service improvements.
Access to an Aiturnpro API, where offered, must not be interpreted as an official Turnitin API licence or authorisation to access any third-party proprietary system.
Development and Consulting Services
Where Concepts and Context undertakes customised software development, integration, technical consulting, implementation or other professional services, the engagement may be governed by a Statement of Work ("SOW"), project agreement, letter of intent, written quotation or another mutually executed contractual document.
Each engagement should specify, where applicable, the scope of work, deliverables, responsibilities, project milestones, acceptance criteria, fees, dependencies and delivery requirements.
The Customer shall provide reasonable cooperation, accurate project information, necessary access and timely approvals required for performance of the agreed Services.
Requests falling outside the agreed scope may require a separate quotation, revised delivery schedule or written change order.
The terms of any separately executed SOW shall take precedence in the event of an express conflict concerning that engagement.
Approval and Acceptance of Deliverables
This provision applies to separately contracted professional services involving identifiable project deliverables, rather than ordinary automated scan reports.
Unless a different period is agreed in writing, the Customer shall have seven (7) calendar days following receipt of a deliverable ("Acceptance Period") to assess it against the mutually agreed acceptance criteria.
If the Customer identifies a material non-conformance, the Customer must notify Concepts and Context in writing during the Acceptance Period, specifying the relevant deficiencies.
Concepts and Context shall be provided a reasonable opportunity to review and address valid non-conformances.
Where no written notice of material non-conformance is received during the Acceptance Period, the deliverable shall be deemed accepted, subject to applicable law and any express contractual warranties.
Confidentiality
"Confidential Information" means non-public information disclosed by one party ("Disclosing Party") to the other party ("Receiving Party") in connection with the Services, which is identified as confidential or should reasonably be understood to be confidential from its nature and circumstances.
Confidential Information may include business plans, financial information, customer records, source code, software designs, technical specifications, commercial proposals, research documents, unpublished manuscripts, personnel information and other proprietary materials.
Information disclosed orally may be confirmed as confidential in writing within ten (10) days of disclosure.
Confidentiality Exclusions
Confidential Information shall exclude information that:
- Is publicly available without breach of this agreement.
- Is lawfully received from a third party without an obligation of confidentiality.
- Was lawfully known to the Receiving Party before disclosure without confidentiality restrictions.
- Is authorised for disclosure by the Disclosing Party in writing.
- Is independently developed without using the Disclosing Party's Confidential Information.
- Must be disclosed under applicable law, regulation or a lawful order of a competent authority.
Where legally permitted, a Receiving Party required to disclose Confidential Information shall provide reasonable advance notice and cooperation to allow the Disclosing Party to seek appropriate protection.
Each party shall use Confidential Information only for authorised purposes connected with the Services and shall apply reasonable measures to protect it against unauthorised access or disclosure.
Intellectual Property Rights
11.1 Company Intellectual Property
Concepts and Context retains all rights, title and interest in its pre-existing software, algorithms, systems, documentation, trademarks, website content, application interfaces, underlying technology and other proprietary materials.
Access to Aiturnpro does not transfer ownership of the Company's technology or intellectual property to the Customer.
11.2 Customer Content
Customers retain their applicable ownership rights in original documents and other content submitted for analysis.
The Customer grants Concepts and Context a limited right to process submitted content as reasonably necessary to deliver the requested Services, maintain system security, provide authorised support and comply with applicable legal obligations, subject to the applicable privacy terms.
11.3 Reports
Subject to full payment and these Terms, Customers may download and use reports generated for their authorised internal, academic, research or professional purposes.
Such permission does not transfer ownership of underlying software, reporting templates, proprietary methodologies or third-party intellectual property.
11.4 Custom Project Deliverables
For separately commissioned development or consulting work, ownership of specifically identified deliverables shall transfer to the Customer upon receipt of full payment, to the extent provided in the applicable written agreement.
Where deliverables incorporate pre-existing intellectual property owned by Concepts and Context that is necessary for their intended operation, the Company grants a perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide, transferable and royalty-free licence to use that intellectual property solely in connection with the deliverables, unless the written agreement provides otherwise.
Third-party software and open-source components remain subject to their applicable licence conditions.
Privacy, Document Handling and Data Security
Concepts and Context recognises the importance of protecting account information, uploaded documents and other data processed in connection with its Services.
Personal information shall be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and the relevant privacy notice made available by the Company.
Customers must ensure that they have all necessary permissions, authorisations and lawful grounds before uploading documents containing personal, confidential or third-party information.
The Company may use authorised hosting, payment processing, security and other technical service providers where necessary to operate the Services.
Data storage, retention, deletion and access arrangements shall be governed by the applicable privacy notice, product settings, contractual commitments and legal obligations.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information. However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security against every possible threat.
Warranties and Disclaimers
Except as expressly stated in a written agreement or required by applicable law, the Services are provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Concepts and Context disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement and uninterrupted availability.
We do not warrant that every Service will operate without temporary interruptions, processing delays, technical errors or maintenance requirements.
We do not guarantee that automated analysis results will be error-free, reproduce the results of another detection provider or meet the requirements of any particular educational institution, journal or organisation.
Nothing in this section excludes warranties or statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, Concepts and Context shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the use of its Services.
Such excluded losses may include loss of anticipated profits, business opportunities, revenue, goodwill or consequential financial losses, even where the possibility of such losses has been communicated.
Subject to liabilities that cannot legally be limited, the aggregate liability of Concepts and Context for claims arising from a particular paid Service shall not exceed the total amount actually paid by the Customer to Concepts and Context for that Service giving rise to the claim.
For separately contracted development or consulting services, the relevant liability cap shall be the fees paid under the applicable engagement, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Where permitted by law and appropriate, Concepts and Context may elect to re-perform the affected Service instead of providing monetary compensation, subject to the Customer's mandatory legal rights.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or any matter for which limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
The Company is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, subject to applicable law.
Cancellation, Refunds and Termination
15.1 Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation requests, refund eligibility, unused service credits and payment disputes shall be handled according to the applicable Cancellation and Refund Policy or purchase-specific terms communicated to the Customer, subject to applicable law.
A request for a refund shall not automatically entitle a Customer to repayment where the purchased Service has already been performed. Any applicable statutory refund rights remain unaffected.
If a service is materially defective, unavailable or not delivered as agreed, the Customer may submit a support request for review and an appropriate resolution.
15.2 Termination by the Customer
Customers may stop using the Services or request account closure through available support channels, subject to outstanding obligations and applicable data retention requirements.
15.3 Termination by the Company
Concepts and Context may suspend or terminate Services in accordance with applicable law and contractual commitments where the Customer materially breaches these Terms, engages in unlawful activities, creates security risks or fails to satisfy applicable payment obligations.
15.4 Continuing Obligations
Termination shall not affect accrued payment obligations or contractual provisions intended to survive termination, including relevant confidentiality, intellectual property, dispute resolution and liability provisions.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by, interpreted and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.
The applicable laws of India and the jurisdictional laws relevant to Uttar Pradesh shall govern the agreement regardless of the Customer's geographical location, subject to mandatory laws that may apply.
The parties shall first make reasonable efforts to resolve disagreements through good-faith communication.
Subject to any mandatory statutory jurisdiction or consumer protection rights, courts of competent jurisdiction at Ayodhya, formerly Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh, India, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.
Nothing in this clause shall prevent a party from exercising legal rights before a forum whose jurisdiction cannot lawfully be excluded.
Entire Agreement and General Provisions
These Terms, together with applicable additional policies, accepted purchase terms and separately executed agreements, constitute the entire agreement between the Customer and Concepts and Context concerning the relevant Services.
Where a separately executed professional services agreement expressly provides otherwise, that agreement shall prevail concerning its stated subject matter.
No modification to a separately executed written agreement shall be effective unless agreed in writing by duly authorised representatives, except where the agreement expressly permits another method.
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in force to the extent permitted by law.
Failure to enforce a provision shall not automatically constitute a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, these Terms do not create rights enforceable by unrelated third parties.
Separately executed agreements may be signed in counterparts, including legally valid electronic counterparts, each of which shall form part of the same agreement.
Changes to These Terms
Concepts and Context reserves the right to revise these Terms and Conditions and additional terms applicable to particular Services from time to time.
Changes may be introduced to reflect modifications to our Services, commercial arrangements, technical requirements, business practices or legal obligations.
The latest published version shall indicate its last updated date. Material changes shall be communicated where required by applicable law or contract.
Continued use of Services after revised Terms become effective may constitute acceptance of those changes where legally permissible.
Users are encouraged to review this page periodically.
